Michael Vick Leaves Game Early Because of Concussion
Translation: Michael Vick is one of the best football players in the NFL (National Football League) and the leader of the Philadelphia Eagles team which many experts predict will win a lot of games this season. Unfortunately for Vick and the Eagles, Vick had to leave the team’s game last night, against the Atlanta Falcons because he suffered a concussion during one of the plays. When he left the game his team was winning 31-21 but then the Falcons won the game 35-21, partly because Vick had to leave the game. Whether or not he will play in future games is uncertain.

Red Sox Lose Again and Now Only 2 Games Ahead of the Rays
Translation: The Boston Red Sox, a team that many had predicted at the beginning of the baseball season would win a championship this year, lost to the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday, 8-5 in Boston. The Rays and Red Sox played four games over this weekend and the Rays won 3 of them. Since the Rays won all of those games they are now closer to tying the Red Sox win to loss ratio (record). Whichever of these two teams has the best win to loss ratio at the end of the season will have the opportunity to play in the playoffs for a chance at the championship. The other team will end their season in disappointment.
