Translation: The professional basketball league (NBA) has a draft at the end of every season, like all professional sports. The teams take turns in claiming the right to sign the available amateur players (mostly people who played college basketball). When a player is drafted to a team, that team has exclusive rights to signing that player. The Cleveland Cavaliers will be the first team to pick in this year’s Draft which means that they can choose from all of the available players who want to play professional basketball.
